June 19, 2007 Fellow Republicans: I am honored by your selection to Arizona’s RNC National Committeeman. I also congratulate Bill Bridwell and Don Goldwater for their participation in the selection process. Both are good men and great Republicans. I am proud to call both of them friends. Since my selection on June 9th I have been at work learning more about issues, meeting with elected officials and educating myself with state party leaders as well as the RNC. Our first meeting this Summer will be in early August at the site of our 2008 National Convention – Minneapolis. I will accompany our state Chairman and assist him with arrangements for our Arizona delegation at the convention. This will be my first opportunity to meet with other National Committeemen and Committeewomen from across the country to share views on issues that are important to all of us.
