About 10 million kids across America will face loss
of their health coverage because the Democrat leadership in Congress
have decided to use the reauthorization of the S-Chip program as
political leverage against the President as well as House Republicans.
GOP leaders have earnestly been negotiating with
Nancy Pelosi to save the program and break the impasse that exists over
the Republican resolution to initiate eligibility requirements to obtain
this insurance.
Democrats, including Gabby Giffords, Raul Grijalva
and Harry Mitchell oppose income limits and threaten the future of
S-Chip all together.
Meanwhile, unless a resolution is reached by
December 14th the money for S-Chip will dry up. What a blow
for American working families. In fact the congressional research
service predicts a 21 state shortfall of $1.6 billion unless responsible
action is taken soon.
Men and women …. Helping low income uninsured kids
get health coverage is noble. Tell the Democrats to stop playing games
with S-Chip and pass a viable package.
Wouldn’t that be a great way to finish up 2007!

Thanksgiving message:
Friends--Best wishes for a
wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with your family and friends.
Please find the Thanksgiving Day message just prepared for airing on
radio stations here in Arizona and on the internet through the RNC.
All the best........

Thanksgiving is a time to recall our
blessings and to celebrate the many opportunities that freedom affords
our citizens.
When our forefathers settled in this
land they gave thanks for the extraordinary bounty they found in
America. Today, we remain grateful to live in this land of liberty and
abundance. As we join together this holiday let us give thanks for the
love of family and friends and also ask that God continue to watch over
America in the upcoming year.
This year all Americans pray for the
safety of our brave men and women who defend our freedoms. Our Country
is blessed by their service and for the support of their families.
No matter what our political party
affiliation let us all give thanks to live in a Country where freedom
and justice reign. Where opportunity to succeed is possible and a
Country which is a better place to live for the help we give our
neighbors.
In thankfulness and humility let us
ask God to give America the wisdom required to be as John Winthrop once
described as The Shining City on the Hill.

When Ash was running for RNC
Committeeman there was lots of chatter about whether he was
conservative enough. He ended up winning the slot and has not looked
back. What is not in dispute is Ash’s ability to communicate a
unifying Republican message, no small feet these days.
Bruce Ash’s commentary has been a
staple on local radio for a while but is now getting featured on
The Real Democrat Story,
a Republican site exposing the true agenda and record of the
Democrats. Bruce’s latest radio commentary is now featured on
The Real Democrat Story Blog.
Congratulations to Bruce. We do
not know his long-term plans but his ability to forcefully deliver a
coherent message while not getting stuck in one faction or the other
of the party assures him a bright future in the party.
Friends,
The 2008 election is one of the most important we have faced in recent
history. Our Republican Party is preparing to wage a battle to retain
the White House and regain our majorities in the US Congress. From time
to time I will forward these presentations to you.

Rediscover Your Party: Episode 4
Highlighting the importance of keeping spending in-check through
accountability and transparency
The third episode of the Rediscover series features Congresswoman Marsha
Blackburn (R-TN) and Congressman Patrick McHenry (R-NC) discussing the
importance of
keeping spending in-check through accountability and transparency.
Congresswoman Blackburn also points out the Democrats’ dangerous “tax
and spend” addiction they have carried out since taking over Congress.
And Congressman McHenry underscores the importance of trusting the
American people with more of their own hard-earned money.
October 2007
The current Democrat flip over Rush Limbaugh and
debate over the S-Chip program underscore the severe problems which
afflict the current leadership of the US Congress.
Don’t Democrats get it? Republicans aren’t against
the S-Chip program. Helping disadvantaged youngsters is one thing.
Most everyone would agree providing health care to these children is a
wise investment in their future. But the S-Chip bill as proposed by
Pelosi and Reid represented a huge expansion of the coverage to families
earning up to $83,000 and kids up to 25 years old? This bill is just
wrong and the President was right to veto S-Chip. If Democrats really
care about kids they’ll go back to work and pass a revised S-Chip plan
that protects the children and families it was designed to cover.
Now to El Rushbo. Don’t be fooled by rhetoric from
the Democrat Senate. They don’t care what Limbaugh said but they
do want to shut down conservative talk radio and listeners like
yourself. We see what happens when tyrants from 1930’s Germany to
today’s Myanmar try to shut off free speech. Democrats believe in free
speech for everyone….. Just as long as you agree with their party line.
